I have recently moved to the Osborne area in Winnipeg. Living there is a completely new experience for me. During a 5 minute walk, I'll come across the biggest variety of people I've ever seen over such a short time. Right now life is new, exciting, and challenging. I look forward to writing about how my views on the world will change, how they will stay the same, and also what new views will arise.
Good start, Erika.
ReplyDeleteAre you from "the suburbs" or somewhere else in Manitoba?
Osborne Village is a great place to live!
I've always wanted to live in Osborne Village. My favorite shops are all around there and also my favorite Second Cup. Maybe I'll see you around there. :)
ReplyDeleteYou are now living in a very exciting part of the city, Erika! It's such a 'cultural hub'! I'm sure that life will bring in more fun stuff into your life, just by living there :) I would surely love to stroll down the streets there, and find out any new exciting shops! You've got a variety there and that's what makes it exciting! The people, the places and the many potentials (whatever those may be)! :) By the way, my new url address is- www.heartstringswinnipeg.blogspot.com
ReplyDeleteThat is a great neighborhood. You will love it down there. I used to spend a fair bit o' time in that area a couple of years back. Everything seems to blend nicely together no matter what type of shop pops up there.
ReplyDeleteI love living in Osborne Village. If I want to have a quite night, I can walk down to Block Buster. If I’m in a socializing mood, I can meet some friends at the pub, shortly followed by a Burrito del Rio stop. It’s the only place in town where you can get semi-authentic Mexican food.
